About Danielle & MoldMend
MoldMend was born from a combination of professional training and personal experience.
Like many individuals struggling with chronic health challenges, I spent years searching for answers while dealing with symptoms that were often misunderstood, dismissed, or attributed to something else entirely. It wasn't until I discovered the impact that long-term mold exposure was having on my health that many of the missing pieces finally began to come together.
That experience not only changed the course of my own healing journey, but it also inspired a deeper commitment to helping others who may be facing similar challenges.
Today, I work with individuals navigating mold toxicity, mycotoxin exposure, chronic inflammation, fatigue, brain fog, nervous system imbalances, and other complex health concerns. My approach focuses on education, personalized wellness support, and helping clients better understand the factors that may be contributing to their symptoms.
I believe healing is not about chasing quick fixes. It's about creating a strong foundation, supporting the body with intention, and helping individuals feel empowered with the knowledge and tools needed to move forward with confidence.
A Personal Note from Danielle
For most of my life, I thought I was just tired.
Not normal tired, but a deep, persistent exhaustion that felt like it lived in my body. It wasn’t something sleep fixed. It became my baseline.
My symptoms began in my teens. I would come home from school completely depleted, often sleeping for hours just to function. Even as a teenager, my energy never matched how I felt I should be.
As the years went on, my symptoms expanded:
chronic fatigue
daily headaches and pressure
anxiety and depression
digestive issues
brain fog
tremors
autoimmunity/hashimotos
sinus infections and post-nasal drip
a general sense that my body wasn’t working properly
But every time I went to a doctor, I heard the same thing: “Your labs are normal.”
Over time, the focus shifted toward stress or mental health. I was encouraged to consider anxiety or depression as the root cause. But deep down, I knew my body was telling a different story.
Searching for Answers
Eventually, I stepped fully into holistic health and began studying functional nutrition, lifestyle medicine, and quantum nutrition testing.
I explored everything I could:
EBV, parasites, heavy metals, hormones, gut health, inflammation, and detox pathways.
I did improve. I felt better. But I plateaued around 75–80 percent, and for a long time I thought that might just be my “new normal.”
But something still didn’t feel resolved.
There was always a limit I couldn’t get past.
The Missing Piece
It wasn’t until much later that a memory resurfaced.
My brother reminded me of the home we grew up in, specifically my bedroom next to a root cellar that flooded repeatedly over the years. Each time it flooded, mold would grow. And like many homes at the time, it was often ignored or treated superficially.
That piece changed everything.
Suddenly, so many of my symptoms made sense:
the fatigue, the brain fog, the neurological symptoms, and the slow progression of decline over time.
What I had been chasing for years was not just one thing. It was long-term environmental exposure.
The Turning Point
Meeting Dr. Andrew Campbell was a pivotal moment in my healing journey.
He introduced me to mycotoxin antibody testing and a framework that finally helped connect the dots in a way nothing else had.
I went through his mold recovery program and during that time trained under his guidance.
That experience didn’t just improve my health. It gave me clarity, direction, and purpose.
It became the foundation of how I now support others.
Why I Do This Work
I lead with mold illness because I’ve lived the long, confusing, and often isolating version of this journey.
I understand what it feels like to:
be told you’re fine when you feel anything but
be dismissed because labs don’t show answers
feel functional, but not well
be exhausted from searching for clarity
wonder if your body will ever feel like yours again
This work is personal.
But it is also grounded in a belief system I hold strongly:
I don’t believe in rushing healing.
I don’t believe in fear-based protocols.
I don’t believe in forcing overwhelmed systems.
I believe in listening to the body, understanding the environment, supporting the nervous system, and addressing root contributors with intention.
